Its a Long and Winding Road....

Gone and left the country for 10 days and back to work here at the IIC. Beautiful Puerto Rico to...the office. Minor details, though.

In any case, the email was fat and plump, ready to perform email-osis and glide out of the computer onto the keyboard. In other terms, I had many emails to look into. Most were those ads, but others--more suprisingly--were from staff at the IIC expecting me to work! Ah, the real world without school vacation.

But it wasn't bad. It was actually nice to have a list of work to do which was privately given to me with confidence that it would be done. Which is was. In fact I drafted my first cover letters to the US Attorney's office and signed them myself. Gabby: the professional IIC intern.

It was quite rewarding. Now I have some down time before I get to work on the next bit of work that is following up on a previous project I began.

Da da da! I am an adult? Then again, I did turn 20. How did everyone know?!
