Late Entry:

Last week was fairly eventful, but monotonous. I could feel work (paid work), interning, extracurriculars and school pulling at opposite ends. I think they all intended to pull me a part but they did not know I was made of the strongest, most robust duct tape ever made by human.

In any case, last week interning was pretty boring. I finished up my project for Human Trafficking for one of the IIC workers (which involved many calls to many unknown people). This involved a lot of confidence and patience, considering a lot of the people I was calling did not have a clue what I was talking about and treated me as either an idiot or a telemarketer (which is like the same thing, right? just kidding...).

So I made many calls, and then was told that the executive director had a job for me (wahoo! Kinda neat, right?) Not so neat, but not unexpected. I ended up having to forge 100 signatures for the president--who wasn't around--and copying the exec director's signature onto a paper and scanning it onto the letter.

Then on Wednesday, I continued this monotony, by stuffing 700 envelopes with another intern and continuing the forging. It wasn't bad, just mindless. And my supervisor rarely makes us do this, so it wasn't bad. I guess it makes you thankful that you don't have to do this all the time. In any case, I got to chill and listen to music and fold for 3 or 4 hours.

Onward and upward
